2020 Ford Escape Trim Levels

Ford Escape S

The base trim runs on a 1.5L EcoBoost® engine that gets up to 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. It makes a good first impression with black exterior accents and a dual-chrome exhaust. Inside, you’ll find comfortable cloth seats and a 4.2-inch LCD screen in the dashboard.

This screen comes with Bluetooth® compatibility and SYNC Voice Recognition, so you can switch songs and make hands-free calls without taking your eyes off the road. You and your passengers can stay connected wherever you go, too, with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.

The dashboard monitor also lets you get a better look at what’s behind you by using a Rear View Camera. It’s part of the Ford Co-Pilot360™ system. This package comes standard on every Escape and helps prevent accidents with driver-assistance features, such as:

• Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking
• BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert
• Lane-Keeping System
• Auto High-Beam Headlamps

Ford Escape SE

The Escape SE has more of a streamlined look with body colored door handles. It also adds chrome accents to surround the front grille and windows. While it has the same engine as the base trim, it also offers a hybrid powertrain. It’s easy to charge and gives you great fuel economy with an EPA-estimated 44 city/37 highway MPG.

Whichever powertrain you’re interested in, you’ll be able to hit the road quickly with Intelligent Access and a push-button start. There are more ways to relax, too, with a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. Meanwhile, a folding armrest is added to the backseats.

The dashboard also gets an upgrade. It features an 8-inch touchscreen that includes SYNC® 3. This infotainment system offers more smartphone compatibility with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.

Ford Escape SE Sport

The Ford Escape SE Sport is both exciting and efficient. It brings back the black exterior accents but runs exclusively on a hybrid powertrain. It also makes it easy to check your fuel economy with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

Cloth seats still come standard, but ActiveX leatherette upholstery is also available. To give the cabin a sportier feel, it includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Ford Escape SEL

ActiveX upholstery comes standard in the Escape SEL. It also adds a memory feature to the driver’s seat, so every drive will feel like you’re relaxing in your favorite chair. It’s also ready to carry some extra cargo with a set of roof rails. Plus, with a hands-free, foot-activated liftgate, you can start packing this trim when you’ve got your hands full.

Under the hood, you’ll get to choose between a hybrid powertrain, the 1.5L base engine, or a 2.0L EcoBoost®. The larger EcoBoost® can deliver up to 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque.

Ford Escape Titanium

The Escape’s Titanium trim shines brightly with LED headlights and fog lights. Inside, there’s ambient lighting and stylish leather seats. To help your passengers relax, there’s dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control and a 6-way power-adjustable front passenger seat.

As the top trim level, the Titanium features more technology, too. Ford Co-Pilot360™ Assist+ comes standard. It includes safety features like Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering. There’s even a voice activated navigation system that can help you find the fastest route.
